We were an independent local charity that exists to help anyone affected by mental distress. Following an unsuccessful tender to continue providing the advocacy service we had built over the past 18 years, we were unable to pursue any of our strategic targets for 2008-11 and hence our 'charitable objects' (objectives). Members at the 2010 Annual General Meeting therefore took the painful decision to wind the organisation up.
